Getting Ready for Italy

I'm resurrecting the blog (finally) to have a place to post stuff about our Italy trip. We leave Sacramento tomorrow morning (6/19/2007) and will arrive in Venice on Wednesday afternoon after brief layovers in Washington D.C. and London.

I'm planning on posting pictures to flickr, maybe some short video to YouTube, and some ramblings here.

We will be staying at the Hotel Novocento in Venice http://www.novecento.biz, a nice house just outside of Florence in a city called Lastra a Signa http://initaly.com/agri/fieni/fieni.htm, and at an apartment right by the Villa Borghese in Rome http://www.initaly.com/info/apts/rvborghese/rvborghese.htm
